Beaver Island is the most remote inhabited island in the Great Lakes. Located in Lake Michigan, north of Traverse City and Charlevoix, the Island has a year-round population of 450, a large percentage of whom are of Irish descent. The Island's seclusion and the unique independence of its residents has made time slow down. The Island's blend of natural beauty and timeless character has tempted many visitors to make a permanent spot in their lives for Beaver Island. We invite you to discover the Island for yourself, and maybe, to make Beaver Island part of your life.
